| How to Start and Grow your Business; Taught by Experienced Entrepreneurs! |
|
These are “no BS” courses taught by Rod Hosilyk & Matt Westfield – “real world” guys who have been there and done it, starting successful businesses from scratch, often without a lot of capital and they explain it in detail. And although they teach these topics in University Executive MBA programs, students will learn from real world experiences – what worked and what didn’t…and why, in easily understood terms, not highly theoretical ideas that are difficult to understand and implement. The focus is on YOU, starting and building a business for success focusing on: disposition, product viability, marketing, customer acceptance, validating the marketplace, etc. We do not focus on determining legal structures such as partnerships, LLC, corporations, etc., because that is easily attained info... These coursees are different from any workshop you've experienced in the past... Students leave with a wealth of practical information they can begin using immediately. The SGS intermediate course and workshop consists of two days of interactive course time and a final third day workshop. The advanced course consists of two days of interactive course time and expands on the subjects introduced in the intermediate course and adds new material.
Nowhere else will you find this kind of “real world” information available, all in one place, by guys who have started multiple product and service companies in various sectors.

In today’s changed economic times, jobs have not only been lost, but entire company functions have been eliminated and/or outsourced. Because of this, more attention is being focused on “entrepreneurial ventures” as an alternative to “finding a job”. But most people are unprepared to make the change from employee to entrepreneur because they have not had adequate training – which is virtually impossible to find. Consequently, hundreds of thousands of dollars are lost every year by ill-prepared would-be entrepreneurs. SGS has put together intensive courses for business oriented people to help navigate the murky waters of entrepreneurism with the least risk and best chance of success.
